1. Product Information

With our MHRB-18ATC refractometers you can determine fast and exactly the content of sugar in fruit, grapes/clusters, vegetable, lemonades and translucent fruit juices. Likewise the water content of emulsions e.g. drilling emulsions, cut oils or cooling lubricant. The offered refractometer offers integrated automatic temperature equalizing system (ATC) which provides a maximum of precision and control comfort. With one view you can read off water content or sugar content. It is manufactured in a very stable kind with metal housing and plastic-encased grasp. The equipment achieves a high accuracy of ±0,1%.

2. Technical Details

ATC = (Automatic Temperature Compensation) for accurate measurements without recalibration after shifts in ambient working temperature.

Example measurement: Before each measuring procedure you should clean the daylight-plate and the prism carefully and afterwards dry to leave. Then you give 1-2 drops of the sample on the prism, when closing the daylight-plate the sample distributes itself evenly between covers and prism. Pay attention that no air vesicles form. This would impair the fair result negatively. By easy moving of the daylight-plate the sample liquid can be distributed evenly. Now you hold the refractometer against bright daylight, in order to see the scale by the eyepiece. The desired value can be read off now directly. Please carefully clean and dry the equipment after each measuring procedure, so that no deposits are left on the prism and the daylight-plate .
